Marketing Assistant (Entry-Level, In-Person)
SMB Marketing Co. is hiring an entry-level Marketing Assistant to work directly with the owner of a B2B SaaS marketing agency and support day-to-day execution across campaigns, content, CRM systems, and marketing operations.
This role is a fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and willing to learn by doing. You don't need years of experience; we're looking for strong basic computer skills, good judgment, and the ability to follow through.
This is an in-person role based in Enterprise, Oregon.
About SMB Marketing Co.
SMB Marketing Co. is a small, hands-on marketing agency focused on B2B SaaS companies. We help clients grow through email marketing, CRM execution, content, campaign support, and marketing systems that connect to real business results.
This is not a large corporate team. You will work directly with the owner, be exposed to real client work early, and build practical skills in modern marketing tools and workflows.
What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Assistant, you will help support a range of client and internal marketing tasks, including:
Email operations: Build, edit, format, and QA marketing emails in platforms such as HubSpot and Cordial, with close attention to links, formatting, and accuracy.
CRM support: Maintain and update customer data, support list organization and segmentation, and help keep systems clean and accurate.
Content support: Assist with drafting, formatting, scheduling, and quality-checking LinkedIn posts, blogs, and related content for a professional B2B audience.
Campaign execution: Support the setup, review, and monitoring of automated workflows and multi-step campaigns.
Research: Conduct company research, lead research, and competitive research to support client strategy and execution.
Reporting support: Help track campaign performance and prepare simple reports or summaries for internal and client use.
AI-assisted workflow support: Use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms to help draft, summarize, organize, and improve internal workflows.
General agency support: Assist with other marketing, operational, and administrative tasks as needed to help keep projects moving.
